My husband has been an Indian food fan for a while, but I wouldn't try it. I finally gave in and off we went to Navya Lounge. A close friend recommended it but I did not know what to expect.
Let's just say I'm a convert now! Beautiful setting with a golden glow... perfect romantic dinner ambience... We've been there several times since and have never been disappointed by the food or service. Both are excellent.
Every meal starts off with a complimentary order of papadam and tamarind chutney. The platter of assorted vegetarian appetizers (for 2) is delicious as are the many varieties of bread. Try the naan, and aloo paratha (flat bread stuffed with potatoes). The wonderful mulligatawny soup has a bit of a bite, even if you order it mild. The chefs come personally to meet at the table and fine tune the taste for your tongue.
The shrimp biryani and sheesh kabab totally rocked. If you want to try Indian this one is a winner.

I really enjoy the variety of entertainment that the Navya Lounge offers. I especially enjoyed watching the band, House of Tarab, and belly dancers perform there back in July!
